Big Day is Near

Well..... Been super busy for the past few weeks.

but most of the preparations are done.

had the pre-wedding pictures taken last week.

got that done.

invitation cards are ready.

Will...post some pictures of the wedding shoot later.

But......... as all goes well, work volume has increased...

and clients have been kind and paying on time,

and now I am short staffed......

and Yes.....it is a very impresive new stadium.

Yet.......this is what it looks like since 2 days ago. !

Why ? there must be someone who knows.

Heard something on the radio on the way to office this morning,.

they were talking about the Mr 10%

well, the Mr 10% are the people who does not do much but get paid.

which forces the rest of the people who actually do the work to cut corners.

and Maybe ??? this is the cause ??

HOT HOT HOT !

everyone would agree....... the weather lately is Sooooooo HOT !

well, woke up and was feeling abit sick. Flu season !!

But, again, no one in the office except me as one of the staff......
"Saya kena cuti, nak bawak abang ke hospital....."

again ? or was it last time, just last week......conveniently on a thursday,
"Saya demam lah, MC"
then the next day.......no news......and ofcourse....its friday,
then saturday and sunday off.

sigh

So, i am stuck in the office today.

But other then that, the weather is so hot that, the boys that work in the field,
are sort of all down with some sort of flu.

but hey ! i appreciate them, they still go to work.
"Ada kerja, kita kerja, tak tau lah bila ada kerja."
"Bila tak ada kerja, baru lah kita rehat !"

work ? or paper work ? equally important i suppose.....

I can not beleive myself. been sitting in the office for the past few hours, writing letters.
and all i wanted to do is to just send some survey drawings out.
but i have to write a 3 page letter, telling stories, making sure i don't directly or indirectly say the wrong thing........ sigh

what ever happened to simple work, just do it..... and not having to worry about someone, somewhere, someday, to just turn around and point the finger at you !! and saying.....
YOU ARE WRONG !

and whatever you say will not matter, as the answer will be......"ei, how come you did not inform us earlier ?? why you tak ada put in black and white ??"

then again, if we put it all in writing.......the answer will be.....
"ei, bro, apalah ini,...... no need to write and complain mah, just come and discuss and we solve the problem here, no need to write all these lah......nanti big boss tau, susah lah..."

so. is this so call our local way of being professional ??

ANOTHER TIRING DAY

Well, saturday for most people will be just reading the paper and having their coffee after waking up late.

Have planned the saturday to be a busy day, wanted to paint the room with my GF,
but guess what.......as usual, the phone rings, and urgent jobs need to be taken care of.

So, here i am in the office, and working !

Guess it is a Good sign as, the more jobs you you the more money you get right ??

but, lets wait and see, and i do pray very hard that atleast for all the hard work we put in, atleast........GOD !....please let my clients pay me on time.
