WINE 红酒

Baught some wine a few weeks back at Denise.........

Been a while since i was there for some wine, but drop by there cause LC was eager to start her wine drinking training..... :-)

With Denise, i find that the selection is limited and sometimes the pricing is a bit on the high side.

But with the membership card you get extra discount. and sometimes you can get nice wine that are hard to find elsewhere.

The Lucas........Californian...... Not really a californian wine person, I find the wine a bit young.

with the Lone Tree Merlot........ Its ok for the price.....

and the Maxwell Shiraz..... I have had it before, i like the full taste of it, but the price is a bit on the high side.....

LIFE

This is what i saw this morning........ makes me think about the wonders of the world.

remembering just last night i have trimmed the plant that i have planted a few weeks ago and since last week has short of died off.......

and it is not until last night, after i have trim off the dead part and hey !,,,,,,, underneath it, next to the main plant....... new shoots !!.

as in the normal cycle of life, the old will go and the new will come,

abd the cycle continues.

I suppose, we live for the future and yet the time will come when our time on this earth will end.

so, while we are still here, we should cherish every moment of it.

and live our Life.

Painted Walls

This is the resuld of the hoard work put in yesterday.
A combination of dark oilve green and light olive green colours.
Will show the rest once the furnitures are in.

JOB WELLDONE !

Finally.....today we finished painting the last room.
to me a Job well done. for amatures anyway....

Now will have to wait for the smell of the paint in the room to go.

might try charcoal and water ?? as advice by some.

will post new room pictures soon.
let me do the experiment and will let everyone knows if the method of using charcoal and water works !

What i read in the papers today.........

ONE In A Million host Awal Ashaari takes a coffee break and confides that with money, love will find you.

Q: Which is better, having someone to love and no money or having money but no one to love?

A: I always believe that when you have money people will love you more.

There's no such thing as having money but no one to love because when you have money, you will definitely find love!

Maybe it is true.......that everyone thinks money will buy happiness (aka LOVE) ?

The Meaning of MONEY

As some might think, without money, means no life.....
might be true to a certain degree, but hey, how much is enough ? sufficient ?

what is the gauge for this limit ?

Lets say, when you have $1000, then you might be happy for a day, and 2 days after that, you might think, hey!....... that $1000 won't buy me the new car i want.

so...... after a while, you have $100,000 (say....)

then you might say......hey!.....that $100,000 can only buy me a sedan, and not one of those sports models.........

and ofcourse.....this goes on...... $ 1 mil....... $ 2 mil........ ?? where will it end ??
it won't. Until we realise, what are the basics, and what truely makes us happy.

would you still say MONEY >>??

No doubt. life is tough. eveyrone has problems. and not everyone around you understands or care about your problems. other then the people closest to you that care.
Theres no problem in this world that can not be solved.
solving problems takes time and patience.

SURE....wish for all the money you can get in an instant...
but then again, don't forget...... theres never a free lunch in this world either !

Unpaid contractors seek panel's help

The News.......

THE Public Accounts Committee has given itself a new task: to be a mediator for contractors who have yet to be paid by government-linked companies

PAC chairman Datuk Seri Azmi Khalid said there were many contractors who had not been paid for jobs done for GLCs, some for as long as three years.

I know of people not being paid for longer then that !!!

"We have the ability to summon these companies to speak to us. At the very least, we can get these companies to tell the contractors why they were not paid."

Talk, talk and more talking,......and then "minum dulu (have a drink first).........", and then "makan dulu (lets eat first)........" the normal procedures....

what normal people and small contractors are interested is to get paid, and no more talking and excuses anymore.
Too many had suffered, gone out of business, bankrupt..........

Still, who can touch the Big Boys ? they will always win.......... sigh

ANOTHER DAY

Another tiring day at work today......
work, work and more work.
I should be very happy that theres so much work, but then again, theres somthing not right thats making me feel bad.

Another promise broken ?? maybe ??
as promised,....... the most commonly used phrase.... (Inshallah....kita akan bayar minggu ini) !
is it really in god's hand when it come down to a matter of paying or not ??

In a way, yes and very much no !.
We all beleive in GOD !, but the problems we face nowadays, its got nothing to do with god,
but instead...... the greed of MEN !

If theres an earthquake, i understand, a flood, maybe...... tsunami..... God's will maybe....
but work done and not getting paid.....!! i think not so

why order someone to do the job when you can't pay ?
and if you can pay.....why not pay instead of delaying.......??

normal working people suffers because of the greed of a few !!!

Nice Movie

Was watching a nice movie to day......

海角 7 号....... but got pissed off because almost the end of the movie,
it frozed !! ....we tried and tried....but

in the end, we have to take it back to the shop and exchange.
and we finally finished the movie.
yeah !!
