VANDALS - it happened again
VANDALS........ this the malaysian way ? Malaysian mentality ?
It happened again at my apartment lift.
Some "BOYS" i guess did this, and this is not the first time.
All the buttons got burnt ! , and even when some people tried to stick some numbers there to help the normal users,
even that...... they remove !
Don't they know that they (those who stay here) or their parents are paying for it as well ?
and why should we..... pay for it ?
It comes down to parenting.........
(I am making the assumtion that they are kids)
Parents play an important role in educating the younger generation.
So, what are the parents doing about this ? If they did, why did it happened again ?
sigh.................
What the future holds for our society, our country ?? if this type of behaviour is so common !!

Chicken WIngs
Well...... this is what i read. "Chicken Wings are dangerous - especially for women"
Chickens that are injected with steroids are usually given the shot at the neck or the wings.
Therefore, it is in these places that the highest concentration of steroids exists.
These steroids have terrifying effects on the body as it accelerates growth..
It has an even more dangerous effect in the presence of female hormones, this leads to women being more prone to the growth of a cyst in the womb.
Therefore, I advise the people out there to watch their diets and to lower their frequency of consuming chicken wings!

End of Month
Its the start of the week, but yet its the end of the month as well.
For the people who works for someone, well, its a time to Look forward to,
as end of month = pay day !
For the people who employs people to work, well,
worry time, and employers just dread this time of the month as
paying your workers without being able to collect is not an easy thing to do.
reading the news everyday, where, people are out of jobs, and not getting work,
where is everything heading to...........
what i can't understand is that, still, there are soooo many people who are living it up,
buying big cars, big house, spending thousands of dolloars a night, mistresses, and yet on the other hand, when you talk to the normal people on the streets, everyone will say....
'economy very bad', 'don't know how lah this year', 'no job', 'don't know when will get paid lah'
so how come ??
Is this the classic example of the rich getting richer ?

TITLE TO YOUR PROPERTY
Most people does not know this when buying their first home or even second and third home, and thinks that once you pay your deposit and your loan approved thats it. you own it.
Well..... think again..... you might not own it legally (in some cases).
Recently, i have a case.
A company started developing an area in (Selangor).
Everything was going ok. all in oder.
most of the properties were sold.
But........ half way through, the company went into trouble.
and end up closing.
As usual, final title comes way long after the houses were hand over to individual owners.
At the moment, since the company is insolvent, no individual title has been issued, because..........
the process of getting individual title issued was not completed before the company went bankrup!
Some of the owners have since passed away, and guess what.......
all the so call owners are NOT the Legal owners of the propoerty.
And so. again, a Surveyor is there to recue.
only when it is too late and too old, and only then, people start to wonder........
am i the legal owner. ???
So, next time before you buy a property,........
ask a surveyor first for advice.

I suppose this is what everyone is taking about.
well atleast for this week anyway........
Its for a good cause, and i was reading the article on it, and it seems like there are plenty of people all over the world who are going to switch off their lights on saturday night...
Makes me wonder, is this just a big publisity thing that corporate giants get to lie to the public and say....... hey, i turn my lights off too.
But what happens after this weekend ??
Back to normal i guess, if not.....how can they answer to the shareholders ??
After all, making money is the ultimate aim.
But hey, atleast its a start.
I will be turning off my lights as well..........

GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENTS
I suppose it happens to everyone, and in most other countries as well...
This is my experience.....
ok....this is regarding land matters.
Imagine, your client is one of government departments.
commision you to do a survey, and they have the slightest idea about what survey is and involve.
so, you go to survey department.......you get a plan.
you go to land office......you get another plan.
you go to majlis.......you get yet another plan.
and all of the above are legal documents, and are DIFFERENT !!
so, it comes down to the surveyor's advice.........
which one do you decide to adopt ?? and all are "so called" confirmed to be the same by the different authorities. !!
BUT NOT THE SAME !
and worst of all........ the client will say .... surveyor did not do a good job. sigh

Just another day
Woke up early again today, and thought that there will be no traffic jam.
hey ..... after all its school holidays.
but, once i passed the Sg Besi toll....... the same thing. JAM...
Everyone is heading to the City for shopping ? so early ? and still those people can afford to spend ?? ....... 'anyway...'
In the papers agian and again....... i have read.
Normal citizens like us are still complaining about the amount of tax payers' money the government is spending on COMPENSATION to the consessionaires .......
It still puzzles me as to, why do we have to pay for all this ?
and why did the government sign contracts that guarantee income for the highway operators.
price increases, number of cars increases,.....so that should mean their income has increased.
then why should we still compensate them, especially when they announce profits every year !!
sigh..............

ROOMS DONE........Almost
Well......we have finally shift the sofas around on the weekend.
all done, and with the rooms painted.

will have to solve the clothes drying area for LC...

HOMECOOK MEAL
whats better then having a homecook meal on a sunday,
relaxing at home, with the person you love...... :-)
We tried and experimented with creating our own version of a korean pancake/okonomi yaki......
simple. just some plain flour, and egg, some water, a few prawns, spring onion, parsley.........
cjop all them up, whip up the flour, with an egg and some water, mixe them all up and fry in a pan........
once done, have some fresh lettuce, and seaweed, roll the all up in bite size, and some sauce, i prefer a bit of mayonnaise............
yummy.......try it !!

PROCEDURES
work ? or paper work ? equally important i suppose.....
I can not beleive myself. been sitting in the office for the past few hours, writing letters.
and all i wanted to do is to just send some survey drawings out.
but i have to write a 3 page letter, telling stories, making sure i don't directly or indirectly say the wrong thing........ sigh
what ever happened to simple work, just do it..... and not having to worry about someone, somewhere, someday, to just turn around and point the finger at you !! and saying.....
YOU ARE WRONG !
and whatever you say will not matter, as the answer will be......"ei, how come you did not inform us earlier ?? why you tak ada put in black and white ??"
then again, if we put it all in writing.......the answer will be.....
"ei, bro, apalah ini,...... no need to write and complain mah, just come and discuss and we solve the problem here, no need to write all these lah......nanti big boss tau, susah lah..."
so. is this so call our local way of being professional ??

CENSORSHIP
Came across some pictures of high profile politicians' sons having a good time somewhere, drinking and womanizing.......!!
and what surprise me was that, is it "like father like son" ?? or is it just a case of well educated, high profile, "respected" politicians do not have time to guide his son ??
well.......its a shame to see this, while these politicians are preaching to us something else, and in their own house, a different sets of rules.
How did the pictures find its way to the net ?
it is understood that, high profile politicians have a lot of so call "political enemies"...........
But, if you know there is, then why do it, and show it ??
And since the pictures were shown, the site was blocked.
why? what happened to freedom of speach ? The truth is always the Truth....

Workers
Again in the news today..........
What puzzles me is that we read from the same newpaper, what i mean is that we/us (the normal citizens) and them/they (the politicians). Do they see what we see ? or they just pretend not to see ??
It has been reported that the country, especially in the city, is flooded with foreign workers that are without jobs. and to please us, since so much of us are without jobs and suffering from the economic situation, they say, NO MORE VISAS.....
BUT...... too late, instead of 70,000 issued, there were ONLY 55,000 issued,,,(No worries !) cause it was approved before.
SO....clearly we know what is the situation........ but blame it on who ? when the situation gets out of hand ?
why not just stop the people from coming, and tell the employers to take the ones stranded here and employ them instead ?
Easy,....... bring a lorry......look for the nearest bridge in town, go underneath, .......... and shout...
" mau kerja ? naik lori.......... !!"
I am quite sure you will fill up the lorry full with workers in seconds !!
